11 tracks across Pennsylvania have teamed up form a new series titled the PA Posse 410 Sprint Series that will feature more than $1.8 million in purses and a $200,000 point fund.
The series will feature 47 events across the 11 tracks throughout Pennsylvania. There will be 10 races at Williams Grove and Lincoln and 9 at Port Royal. BAPS Motor Speedway and Selinsgrove will host four each. Clinton County Speedway, Path Valley Speedway, Bedford Speedway, and Bridgeport Speedway will host two races while Hagerstown and Grandview Speedway will both host a single race.
Each race will pay a minimum of $6,000 to-win and $600 to start. The “$200,000 point fund will reward the top 15 teams, including a standout $50,000 payday for the champion.”
Additionally, the tracks have coordinated with each other so that they “will not compete against one another, allowing teams, fans, and sponsors to experience the best the region has to offer without conflict.”
Jerry Parrish the General Manager at Lincoln Speedway commented, “This is a huge win for everyone involved in Central Pennsylvania racing. By working together, we’re giving fans a stronger, more unified schedule and creating more opportunities for drivers to race for meaningful money right here in PA.”
“I feel this is the first step and way overdue to keep 410 sprint car racing alive and strong for now and for the future in Central PA for our great teams and fans,” shared Steve O’Neal, promoter at Port Royal Speedway.
More details will be announced on the newly formed PA Posse 410 Sprint Series Facebook page. The series plans to share its format, schedule, and point structure in the coming days.
