The Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series announced that its Championship Weekend at I-75 Raceway has been canceled and will not be made up due to pending weather.

The series made the announcement on Facebook, “With forecasts calling for wet weather throughout the weekend in east Tennessee and surrounding areas, Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series officials have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2026 Championship Weekend at I-75 Raceway.”

“With no suitable makeup dates available, the event will not be rescheduled and the 2026 HTF Series season is complete,” the series added.

With the race not getting made up that brings the 2026 season to a close and Ashton Winger has been crowned champion winning the $50,000 championship prize over Dalton Cook, Jadon Frame, Joseph Joiner, and Jake O’Neil.

Winger put on a dominating run beginning in June. He won four straight races beginning with two at Magnolia Motor Speedway. He followed those up with a win at Senoia at the end of the month. The series took a break in the beginning of July, but when they got back to action at Lavonia, Winger was back in victory lane again.

His run was halted at Cherokee Speedway when Chris Ferguson took home the win, but Winger showed championship prowess during the night as he rallied to finish third after going to a B-Main. He continued his strong run into August during a doubleheader at Duck River Raceway Park. He finished 3rd the first night and brought home the win on Saturday. 

Winger’s worst finish of the season was at Tazewell, but he intentionally start and parked knowing that the race would be dropped due to the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series’ points format. At Smoky Mountain on August 22nd, he put together another stout run with a 6th place finish. He concluded the season with a 12th and a 3rd at Swainsboro.

In 14 features, Winger had 5 wins, 9 top 5s, and 11 top 10s. His average finish was 5.4. If you exclude the start and park at Tazewell, it comes down to 4.08.

Jadon Frame finished third in the overall points and was the Base Racing Fuel Rookie of the Year beating out Jake O’Neil and Beckham Malone. That title also comes with a $5,000 payday.

In 14 features, Frame had 3 Top 5s and 10 Top 10s. His best finish was a second at Swainsboro. He had an average finish of 8.29.
