Quebec star pilot Bastien Caron towed into the Fulton Speedway Friday night as the DIRTcar Pro Stock Series points leader, and after 30 hard-fought laps, he added to that lead with his second Series win of 2026.
The Inverness, QC driver, who chalked his Series win total to three, dominated the race around Fulton’s inside lane to earn the $1,500 prize.
“I preferred the bottom line as it was nice and tacky,” Caron noted. “The car was so good, and I worked hard to keep the car down there. I really like this track.”
While J.J. Courcy, from Mexico, NY, followed Caron over the line in second, the battle for the final podium spot lasted until the end of the race.
Tommy Lizotte, from La Pocatiere, QC, passed Jasey Casey for fourth with just three laps to go, then tracked down Shane Playford, from Gloversville, NY, on the last lap to steal third.
Casey, from Ashley Falls, MA, crossed the line in fifth.
Stefanski, meanwhile, finished sixth, leaving Fulton with a 52-point deficit in his quest for a seventh Series championship. With his finish and Caron’s win, the Quebec driver only needs to do is start the I Love NY 50 at Super DIRT Week to secure the 2026 DIRTcar Pro Stock Series title mathematically.
Up Next: The DIRTcar Pro Stock Series finishes its 2026 season with a stop at Super DIRT Week 54, Oct. 5-10, at Oswego Speedway in Oswego, NY. Drivers will compete in Qualifying and Heat Races on Wednesday, Oct. 7, before returning for the I Love NY 50 on Friday, Oct. 9.
