The Hunt the Front team and Joseph Joiner extended their partnership and collaboration with JCM Motorsports following the two teaming up for the Topless 100.
After a 7th place finish in his preliminary A-Main feature for the Topless 100 on Friday night and an 18th place finish in the Topless 100 on Saturday night, Joiner and Hunt the Front announced they will be back with JCM Motorsports for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series races at Lernerville Speedway for the 19th Annual Firecracker 100.
On Facebook, Hunt the Front announced, “Joseph will return to the Kubota Genuine Parts No. 10 Capital this weekend as the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series rolls into North Georgia Speedway for a $15,000-to-win show on Saturday.”
“Next week, we’ll head north for Joseph’s first-ever appearance at Lernerville Speedway, where he’ll be back behind the wheel of the JCM Motorsports No. 19m Rocket with the Lucas Oil Series, August 29-30,” the team added. “After that, it’s on to Eldora Speedway for the World 100, September 4-6! We’ll keep y’all updated on our plans for that one as it gets closer. Plenty of big races ahead. We hope to see you at one (or more) along the way!”
It’s not surprising that Joiner will not be at Port Royal with JCM Motorsports for their next Lucas Oil race given he is in a tight championship battle in the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series. Joiner is currently fourth in points. He’s just 58 points behind current leader Jimmy Owens. He’s only 44 points behind second place Zack Mitchell and just 30 points behind third place Cory Hedgecock. He has a 20 point advantage over fifth place Dalton Cook.

It’ll be interesting to see if Joiner and the Hunt the Front team extend their collaboration with JCM Motorsports after Lernerville. There are only 3 other races on the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series schedule after this weekend’s race at North Georgia Speedway. They include Southern Raceway on September 26th and 27th and the series finale at Cherokee on October 11th. Lucas Oil will be at Brownstown on September 26th and the 27th, so it’s likely he won’t be at those events, but they have races at Knoxville from September 18th through the 20th as well as at Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway for the 37th Annual PIttsburgher on October 3rd and 4th and finally the 45th Annual Dirt Track World Championships at Eldora on October 17th and 18th.
