Sheldon Haudenschild announced he will part ways with Stenhouse Jr. Marshall Racing at the end of the 2025 season.
In a post to social media Haudenschild Racing stated, “With immense gratitude to Ricky, Richard, and the entire Stenhouse Jr. Marshall Racing team, and after thoughtful consideration, Sheldon Haudenschild has made the decision to parts ways with the No. 17 at the conclusion of the 2025 World of Outlaws season.”
Haudenschild himself said, “Driving the No. 17 has been an incredible chapter in my career. I’m thankful to Ricky, Richard, the crew, and all our partners for the opportunities we’ve had together. We’ve made some great memories and I’ll always value my time with this team.
He’s not departing by himself his crew chief Kyle Ripper is also departing as well. The social media post states, “Looking ahead, Sheldon Haudenschild and crew chief Kyle Ripper are excited to build on their success and focus on the future in 2026.”

Haudenschild had been with Stenhouse Jr Marshall Racing since 2017 after he won the World of Outlaws Rookie of the Year in his Haudenschild Racing No. 93 car.
Stenhouse Jr Marshall Racing shared its own statement noting, “We at SJMR are so proud of what we’ve accomplished together with Sheldon over the past eight seasons. It’s been a great run with more than 40 wins and we’re aiming to add a few more before the season ends. We are grateful for everything him and Kyle have done for our team, and we wish them nothing but success in the future.”

Haudenschild is currently fifth in the World of Outlaws points 510 behind current leader David Gravel. He’s won twice this year at Tri-State Speedway in April and Red River Valley Speedway at the end of May. He’s also had 22 top 5s and 34 top 10s.
There are currently 20 races left on the World of Outlaws schedule for 2025. The series is back in action on September 5th as it begins a west coast swing at Vado Speedway Park in Vado, New Mexico for night one of the Desert Showdown. Also on that schedule is Sheldon Haudenschild’s Buckeye Brawl Presented by NOS Energy Drink that will take place on September 26th at Millstream Speedway.
