Kyle Bronson announced he’s changed chassis while also revealing a brand new wrap without his iconic orange.

First, he revealed he’s moved to a Rocket XR2 chassis, “You know what they say about those country roads… they take you home 🚀. XR2.”

As for why he decided to change, Bronson shared, “Decided we needed a fresh start: chassis, shocks, wrap. Let’s see if we can turn this 40B program back around.”

Bronson has struggled throughout 2025. He’s only won 3 times, only had 10 top 5s and just 24 top 10s in 62 feature starts. The wins came at East Alabama Motor Speedway on July 26th and August 16th and then at Eldora Speedway in the Baltes Classic on August 31st.

While he was able to rack up some wins in August, he still struggled for much of the month and into September as well. With the World of Outlaws at Cedar Lake for the USA Nationals he finished 25th. At Florence with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series for the North South 100 he finished 20th, 8th, and then 4th in the 3rd B-Main on Saturday night. At the end of the month he finished 18th and 26th with at Lernerville for the Hillbilly Hundred.

In September, Bronson finished 10th in Shootout 1 at Eldora and then 18th in Feature 1 on Friday night. He failed to make the World 100 and finished 5th in B Feature 1. At Needmore with the World of Outlaws on September 12th he finished 13th, but the next at Senoia he failed to make the show finishing 4th in the second last chance showdown race.

Back in May, Bronson announced he was dropping off the World of Outlaws in order to try to focus on the team’s cars and programs in order to improve. The team stated at the time, “Kyle and crew are going to take this year to really focus on familiarizing themselves with their cars, testing as much as physically possible, and just really bettering their program as a whole. They believe taking a step back from the expectation of a national touring series will allow them to have the extra time to do all of the above.”

While he dropped off the World of Outlaws this year, Bronson did announce in the middle of May his plans to return to a national tour next year. He told DirtonDirt.com’s Todd Turner, “Next year, I’m looking forward to be back on a tour again, but right now we’re just enjoying racing and we’re gonna race all we can and do the best we can.”

Bronson is next expected to race at Eldora Speedway for the Dirt Track World Championship on October 17th and 18th. He also plans to be at the 31st Annual Fall Classic at Whynot Motorsports Park on October 24th and 25th. Finally, he’ll finish out the year at Senoia Raceway on November 14th and 15th with the FloRacing Night in America Series.
