The Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series announced a 3-race trip to West Virginia for the first time in the series history.

The series revealed on Facebook that the 3-race trek begins on Friday, May 22nd at Elkins Speedway for a $10,000 to-win race. Next, they’ll head to Tyler County Speedway on Saturday May, 23rd for a $12,000 to-win race. Finally, the weekend concludes on Sunday, May 24th at the newly reopened West Virginia Motor Speedway for a $15,000 to-win race.

The West Virginia Motor Speedway expressed their excitement about the upcoming race saying, “We can’t wait to see all our great WVMS fans on Sunday May 24th for $15,000 to win!”

Elkins Speedway, which is owned by Mike and Becky Hurley, who also own West Virginia Motor Speedway, described it as “History in the making!!!!”

These three stops are joined by The Deep Fried &5 which returns to Duck River Raceway Park for two nights on July 31st and August 1st. The Friday night race is an $8,000 to-win feature while the 1st place prize money is nearly doubled to $15,000 to-win on Saturday night.

Back in May the series announced it would return to Needmore Speedway for Georgia-Florida Speedweeks and the South Georgia Showdown as well. The track has three nights on the calendar from January 29th through the 31st.

โ€œBeing part of Speedweeks is a big deal for our series,โ€ said series promoter Joshua Joiner. โ€œThereโ€™s so much tradition and energy surrounding that time of year in dirt racing, and for us to have a presence in it is something weโ€™re proud of. We dipped our toes in with a mid-week show in 2025, and now with the Lucas Oil Series shifting later in the calendar, we saw an opportunity to expand into a weekend slot and build something even bigger. Weโ€™re also really excited to continue working with Chance Smith and his team at Needmore. We had a great show there this year, and weโ€™re looking forward to growing that eventโ€”and our partnershipโ€”moving forward.”

Needmore Speedway promote Chance Smith also added at the time, “โ€œWeโ€™re really excited to bring the South Georgia Showdown back for a second year and continue building on what we started in 2025. Needmore Speedway has been growing every season, and being part of Speedweeks is another big step forward for us. Weโ€™re proud to be working with the Hunt the Front team againโ€”they bring a lot of professionalism, energy, and reach to everything they do, and it means a lot to have their series as part of this event. We had a great show this year, and weโ€™re looking forward to making it even bigger in 2026.โ€

Finally, at the beginning of October, the series announced that Swainsboro would also be on the series calendar for two nights on February 2-3.

โ€œWeโ€™re thrilled to be working again with Chance Smith and his crew at Needmore and to welcome JJ Williams and his team at Swainsboro into the fold for 2026,โ€ said Hunt the Front Series General Manager Joshua Joiner. โ€œThe South Georgia Showdown got off to a great start in 2025, and expanding it into a multi-track event gives us the chance to build something even bigger. Both of these tracks bring a lot of passion and character to the sport, and weโ€™re excited to continue growing this event together.โ€
