Paylor Motorsports announced that its owner Donald Bradsher will compete in the World Finals this week at The Dirt Track at Charlotte for the first time in over four years.

Bradsher, 61, will sport a special black paint scheme for Hoopaugh Grading Company that the team’s driver Carson Ferguson showed off back at the World 100 at Eldora Speedway in September.

“The World Finals is one of the biggest races of the year and it’s close to home,” Bradsher said earlier today. “We have always enjoyed racing at Charlotte and we’ve always supported this event. I’ve done some testing here and there the past few years, but haven’t made any competitive laps for quite awhile. I’m looking forward to it, but I’m not doing it for myself – it’s more for my daughters and my young grandkids. Regardless of how we do on the track, they will have some awesome memories and photos to look back on and that’s what really matters.”

As noted above, this will be the first time in over four years since Bradsher has been behind the wheel of a late model. The last time he was behind the wheel in competitive action was at Wythe Raceway in a 604 Crate Late Model on July 31, 2021 for a $10,000 to-win American All-Star Series race. However, the last time he was in a super late model was in October 2020 with the World of Outlaws when they competed at Cherokee Speedway and 411 Motor Speedway.

The World of Outlaws World Finals begins this Wednesday November 5th with hot laps and qualifying on the docket for the Super DIRTcar Series, the Real American Beer Late Models, and the NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car series.

Then from Thursday through Saturday there will be three complete programs with heat races, last chance showdowns, and the feature for the Super Dirtcar Series, the late models, and the sprint cars beginning on Thursday at 4 pm. Drivers will compete for $10,000-to-win on Thursday and Friday and $15,000-to-win on Saturday night.

There is an expectation of around 70 late models showing up to compete this week and weekend.
