Mike Marlar discussed his plans for the rest of the year following the World Finals at The Dirt Track at Charlotte tonight and what his plans are for the beginning of 2026.

Marlar spoke with StockCarReport.com and said, “Right now, we just wanted to get together and race a little bit here towards the end of the year and kind of just figure out all of our team here and get our feet wet a little bit with it. We’re just doing that right now. No real plan.”

“We’ll see if the weather’s good next week,” he continued. “I’d like to go to Senoia. Depending on that. But I think it actually does look pretty good. So probability is pretty good going there.”

“And then as far as Gaffney goes, that’s the day after Senoia so it all depends on how Senoia goes. It’s not that far away, but a little tougher getting over there because usually they start so early at Gaffney on those Sundays. So we’ll see how it all works,” he concluded.

As far as his plans for 2026, Marlar affirmed he will be at the Wild West Shootout at Central Arizona Raceway, but was disappointed it was not returning to Vado Speedway Park given he enjoyed racing there and considers it one of the top 5 or 3 race tracks in the country. He also confirmed he plans to be at Speedweeks as well, “Plan to be. I’ll go out to Arizona and then we’ll come back and do some Speedweeks stuff from there. I enjoy going out west. It’s always fun. So, we’ll do that and then we’ll have a little bit better run, see what all the schedules are going to be and all that for Speedweeks. I know some of it’s out, but I don’t know how much of it.”

Next, he shared a little disappointment of not returning to Vado, “It’s kind of a bummer for me. I hope Central Arizona is good, but Royal [Jones, Vado Speedway Park’s owner], had such a cool racetrack. It’s probably, I think, maybe top 5, top 3 best tracks in the country at Vado. So I enjoyed going there. The racing was good every night. I don’t think we ever seen a bad race there. But, you know, they was fighting the weather a little bit. I understand why they went out further west for a little better weather. But I wish we was at Vado.”
