Josh Rice, Rice Brothers Racing, and JRR Motorsports announced they are hiring a crew chief for Rice’s upcoming 2026 national campaign.

In a post to the Rice Brothers Racing Facebook page, the team announced, “JRR Motorsports is looking for a full time experienced Crew Chief to run a National Tour with the 11 team for the 2026 Season. Pay will be based on experience.”

As for the job requirements, the candidate will have to relocate to Campbellsville, Kentucky, have experience with dirt late models, and have experience using a spring smasher and shock dyno. The ability to drive the team’s hauler is also a plus.

All inquires can be made to [email protected] or DM sent to the Rice Brothers Racing Facebook page.

This announcement comes after JRR Motorsports hired Josh Rice to chase a national tour in 2026 back in October. Rice said at the time, “I feel incredibly fortunate to have this opportunity to drive for the Rattliff Family. Justin and James have deep roots in dirt late model racing and I look forward to working with a group that we have competed against for so many years. I can’t wait for the opportunity!”

While he’ll be chasing a national tour in 2026, it’s unclear whether it will be the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series or the World of Outlaws. It’s likely a decision won’t be made until the Georgia-Florida Speedweeks.

Rice began competing with JRR Motorsports at the end of October. He finished 3rd and 5th at Atomic Speedway during its The Night the Stars Come Out event. He also competed during the World Finals this past weekend at The Dirt Track at Charlotte. Rice failed to make the feature on all three nights. He finished 4th in his B-Mains on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
