A new rumor alleges that Chris Madden will join Wells Motorsports after splitting with Kale Green following the FloRacing Night in America race at Senoia.

Justin Fiedler at Dirtrackr claims, “I’ve heard from multiple people that the deal though with Green ended after Senoia and Madden might have a new ride.”

As for what that new ride is, Fiedler indicated he would be behind the wheel of a Wells Motorsports house car, “I’ve had multiple sources tell me it’s actually Chris Madden that’s headed there. This is one I was sent a few times here recently by different folks, but I wasn’t sure I believed it. One source though who hit me up this week really had my attention. So I think this has a lot more steam to it. This could be a good place for Madden to land knowing he likely doesn’t want to run 50 to 60 races a season. He can run with Wells, help develop that chassis, and kind of race less and maybe closer to home.”

Dirtrackr is not the first to hear about Madden, StockCarReport.com previously heard about this from dirt late model insider Racin’ Jason at the World Finals at The Dirt Track at Charlotte. Racin’ Jason said, “Madden to Wells.”

Additionally, during last week’s episode of Rippin’ the Lip Cody Earley, one of the announcers during FloRacing Night in America’s race at Senoia, shared that Madden and Green split up at Senoia. He said, “You would have had one more [at Cherokee] if the driver and the car owner hadn’t gotten into it at Senoia. … You didn’t hear about Madden and Kale Green packing up and leaving on Saturday night? … Evidently they got into it Friday night and they pulled out and left.”

Later in the episode, Racin’ Jason shared that Madden would be driving for Wells, “I’m hearing a driver from South Carolina is supposed to be getting that ride, is this true? … Y’all said his name a little while ago. He left Senoia. … I heard he’s got-.”

Madden competed in 27 features and won three times, had 12 top 5s and 19 top 10s according to MyRacePass. His wins came  at Swainsboro, Wythe, and Volunteer Speedway as part of the Southern Nationals.
