JCM Motorsports Confirms Brenden Smith Is The Team’s New Driver With A Dome Wrap Reveal

JCM Motorsports confirmed that Brenden Smith will be the team’s new driver for 2026 and it all starts with the Gateway Dirt Nationals.

In a video shared to Facebook, JCM Motorsports shared its wrap reveal and captioned it writing, “I heard Brenden Smith Motorsports and JCM Motorsports were teaming up to take on the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series in 2026?”

In the comments of the Facebook, JCM Motorsports confirmed that Smith will be the driver for the team in 2026 as well.

The team also addressed Joseph Joiner and the Hunt the Front team choosing not to chase the Lucas Oil series in 2026, “Would have been cool to make something work! We completely understand where Joseph is coming from and really enjoyed our time with him behind the wheel.”

JCM Motorsports team owner Colten Miller also spoke with FloRacing about why the team went Smith, “It just seems like a really good fit. He’s an extremely well put together guy. His family is really nice. It just seemed like all the pieces were falling together. We were able to secure some more crew guys who really wanted to work with Brenden, too. He was using the same equipment we were: Rocket Chassis and Fox Shocks. All of it fell in line.”

Smith added, “I’m incredibly thankful to Colten and everyone at JCM for this awesome opportunity. I’m pumped to see what we can accomplish together at The Dome this weekend and with Lucas in 2026.”

Smith competed in 18 features in the Hell Tour He posted 3 top 10s and finished 8th in overall points behind Jason Feger, Tyler Erb, Dillon McCowan, Mark Whitener, Trey Mills, Tyler Millwood, and Christian Hanger. He also competed in a number of Lucas Oil races with most of them happening during Speedweeks. He had a best finish of 17th. at Ocala with the series during Speedweeks. However, his best finish overall with the series was a 14th at Huset’s in July. He also had a 14th place finish with the World of Outlaws at I-55 Federated Auto Parts Raceway Park in June.
