Daulton Wilson announced he’ll join Big Frog Motorsports full time for the 2026 season.

Wilson and his team shared on Facebook, “Daulton Wilson is proud to announce that he will take the wheel of the Big Frog Motorsports / Viper 58v for the upcoming 2026 racing season. The team is currently assembling a full stable of Longhorn Race Cars in preparation for their season debut at the Sunshine Nationals at Volusia Raceway Park.”

Wilson and his team also shared that the team is still finalizing marketing deals and will unveil a new wrap and design for the car. Additionally, the announcement also indicated that the team is still finalizing its 2026 schedule and will announce it and the series it plans to chase “in the coming weeks as the remaining components of the program are finalized.”

Wilson competed with Big Frog Motorsports at the end of the 2025 season after he was replaced at JRR Motorsports by Josh Rice. JRR announced that Wilson would be departing the team in October. Team owner James Ratliff said at the time, “This was a very hard decision for everyone at JRR. Daulton has always carried himself with professionalism and represented JRR Motorsports with class. I’ve enjoyed every minute of the past four years. We’ve made incredible memories together — many I’ll never forget. He’s a great driver, and more importantly, a great person. I wish him nothing but the best in 2026 and wherever his career takes him.”

“It’s definitely bittersweet,” said Wilson. “After four years on the road together, these guys have become like family to me. I’m going to miss being part of this team, but I’m incredibly thankful to James and the entire Rattliff family for believing in me. We’ve shared some amazing moments and picked up some of the biggest wins of my career. I’ll always be grateful for everything they’ve done to support me.”

He competed with Big Frog at East Alabama Motor Speedway where he had two top 10s finishing 6th on Saturday night and 7th on Sunday. He finished 12th in the Friday night portion.

He also had a solid performance at the World Finals at the Dirt Track at Charlotte with Big Frog. He made the feature all three nights and brought it home 13, 20th, and 12th.
