Logan Zarin will reportedly compete with the World of Outlaws in 2026 for Rookie of the Year rather than his previously announced plans with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.

Back at the beginning of October, Zarin and his team shared to Facebook that he would compete with Lucas Oil, “As the 2025 season wraps up, we’re excited to share what’s next for Logan Zarin Racing — our first full year competing with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series in 2026!”

However, that post has since been edited and now simply states “our first full year competing with a national tour!”

Not only was the post edited, but Zarin and his team shared a sneak peek at his wrap for 2026 and shared, “For everyone wondering, an official announcement of our national tour plans will be released in a few days.”

Following this, Dirt Behind The Scenes reported that Zarin will compete with the Outlaws in 2026. The outlet shared, “Logan Zarin is set to take the next step in his racing career, committing to the WoO series for the 2026 season.”

That post was also edited as it originally noted that Zarin would compete in the Lucas Oil series citing the previous Facebook post from October. However, the outlet issued an update in the comments explaining that he spoke with Zarin and the original October 9 post announcing his intent to compete with Lucas Oil “was a mistake made by their social media person.”

The outlet also shared, “With that being said, I want to wish Logan and his entire team the absolute best of luck as they chase Rookie of the Year honors with the World of Outlaws Late Models. Big things ahead for him.”

If this report about Zarin competing with the Outlaws is accurate, he will be going up against Trey Mills for Rookie of the Year. Mills announced his intent to chase the World of Outlaws Rookie of the Year in November stating, “Running the full World of Outlaws tour has been a dream of mine. We proved this year that we can run with these guys, and now it’s time to take on the whole schedule. I’m excited, I’m humbled, and I’m ready to give everything I’ve got to compete for Rookie of the Year.”
