The World of Outlaws Late Models revealed that around 50 drivers and teams will invade Volusia Speedway Park for the DIRTcar Sunshine Nationals that begins later this week.

In a post to social media the series revealed revealed the drivers who are expected to show up.

The DIRTcar Sunshine Nationals begins with a practice night on January 21st. The pit gates will open at 12 PM with practice beginning at 6:00 PM. There will be four sessions for the 602, 604, and World of Outlaws Late Models.

Racing action begins on Thursday, January 22nd with the pit gates opening at 12:00 PM. The grandstands open at 3:00 PM and hot laps are expected to start at 4:00 PM with the World of Outlaws late models hitting the track first.

The Outlaws will run a full schedule on the night with 8 lap heat races, 10 lap B-Mains, and a 35 lap feature. The program will be repeated on Friday night. On Saturday night, the Outlaws will again have 8 lap heat races, 10-lap B-Mains, and then a 50-lap feature.

Past winners in the event include Kyle Bronson, Kyle Strickler, Dale McDowell, Ashton Winger, Devin Moran, and Hudson O’Neal. Ryan Gustin won the opener on Friday night last year with Garrett Alberson winning the Saturday finale. The Thursday night portion was rained out.
