Dallon Murty shared more details about his and Skyline Motorsports’ remaining schedule for Speedweeks.
At the beginning of the DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park, Murty revealed he would be running a pick-and-choose schedule. He told FloRacing’s Ben Shelton, “I haven’t really been thinking about what I’m going to do. But we’re going to have a few off weekends with our pick-and-choose schedule so I’m sure I’ll be in a stock car sometime.”

At the conclusion of the DIRTcar Nationals, Murty shared with Long Live The Chaz that his plan is to follow the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series schedule.
Murty shared, “I think we’ll go to All-Tech, we’ll go to Ocala, and then end it at Golden Isles.”
Murty made 5 of the 6 features during the DIRTcar Nationals. The only night he missed the feature was the first night of the World of Outlaws Late Model portion on Thursday, February 12th. His best finish was the final night with the World of Outlaws Late Models. He brought it home 17th. Murty’s other finishes included 22nd, 23rd, 14th, 12th in Last Chance Showdown 2, and 30th.
He assessed his performance with The Chaz saying, “I’m happy with how it went. We made five out of the six shows. That was something. We just didn’t perform very well in the main events. But other than that this team’s great. Great car owner. I got a great crew. Just me getting a little more laps. Kind of glad to leave this place and head to somewhere else.”
Murty noted on Facebook ahead of the Saturday finale that the team discovered a broken valve spring on Friday in the primary car and decided to run their back up car.
After making the first feature of the week, he also noted that he “needs a few more laps to be a little more comfortable.”
