The eighth and ninth races of the Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series presented by Showtime Properties schedule are slated to take place on May 15-16 in the states of Alabama and Tennessee. Up first will be a visit to Buckshot Speedway in Clanton, Alabama on Friday night for a $5,000 to win shootout. A similar SAS program will then be held on Saturday evening at Duck River Raceway Park in Wheel, Tennessee, as another $5,000 payday will be up for grabs.
Tucker Anderson, who already has two Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series wins in 2026, currently sits atop of the latest point standings over a top five that includes Billy Franklin, Kendall Franklin, Dillon Daves, and Will Hicks. Other winners on the tour this year include Brandon Overton (3 victories), Chris Madden (1 victory), and Trae Kirk (1 victory).
On Friday at Buckshot Speedway, the SAS Super Late Models will be joined by the 604 Late Model, 602 Late Model, Factory Stock, Open Wheel Modified, Buzz 6, and Buzz 4 divisions. The gates will open at 3:00pm local time with the drivers meeting slated for 6:30pm and hot laps to follow.
Grandstand admission will be $20.00 for ages 12 and up, $5.00 for ages 6-11, and free for children ages 5 and under. Pit admission will be $45.00 for ages 12 and up, $15.00 for ages 6-11, and free for children ages 5 and under. Buckshot Speedway can be located at 1034 County Road 76 in Clanton, Alabama. At Duck River Raceway Park on Saturday, the pit gates will open at 2:00pm local time and the grandstands will start to allow fans into the facility at 5:00pm. The drivers meeting is set for 5:30pm with hot laps to follow shortly thereafter. Joining the SAS Super Late Models on the huge racing card will be the 602 Late Models ($1,500 to win), Enduro ($1,200 to win), Pure Pony ($1,000 to win), Factory Stock ($1,000 to win), Open Wheel ($750 to win), Bomber ($600 to win), Front Wheel Drive ($450 to win), Dwarf ($450 to win), Economy 602 ($450 to win), and Sharp Mini Late Models.
Grandstand admission will be $30.00 for ages 13 and up, $20.00 for ages 6-12, and free for children ages 5 and under. Pit admission will be $50.00 for ages 13 and up, $30.00 for ages 6-12, and free for children ages 5 and under. Duck River Raceway Park is located at 1100 Haskins Chapel Road in Lewisburg, Tennessee. Super Late Model body rules and the Droop Rule will be the same as those agreed on by both the World of Outlaws Late Model Series and the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series – among others.
