With heavy rain throughout the week in Malta, NY, leading to unfavorable speedway grounds at Albany-Saratoga Speedway, DIRTcar Northeast and track officials have canceled Friday’s DIRTcar Pro Stock Series event.

Friday’s race will not be made up, as track and Series officials could not find a viable date to reschedule. However, the top full-fender drivers in the Northeast will return to the “Great Race Place” on Saturday, Sept. 26, joining the Super DIRTcar Series during Malta Massive Weekend.

The DIRTcar Pro Stock Series returns to action at the end of the month with a weekend doubleheader in Canada. First, the Series visits Quebec and Autodrome Drummond in Drummondville, QC, on Saturday, May 30. Then, the Series moves to Ontario for a stop at Cornwall Motor Speedway in Long Sault, ON, on Sunday, May 31.
