Billy Moyer and his Keith Lawson Motorsports team unveiled a brand new AK Racecars Chassis ahead of the COMP Cams Race at 67 Speedway of Texarkana.

Keith Lawson Motorsports shared the news in a post to Facebook, “Loading up the #21 AK Racecars, heading to 67 Speedway of Texarkana [for] COMP Cams All-American Super Dirt Series Late Models this Friday!! Big thanks to all our Awesome Sponsors & Fans, we can’t wait to Rev it up.”

AK Racecars added in their own post how honored they were to build a car for Moyer, “Man we’ve been fortunate to be involved in with some cool stuff over the years.. this is up there on the list! To have one of the greatest of all time put their trust in us to put together a badass racecar is a huge honor.”

“It was awesome getting to spend the weekend with Billy, Stevie, and Dustin and we’re looking forward to working together with them going forward!”

The team ran a Longhorn earlier in the season when they competed with the COMP Cams series at Arrowhead Speedway back in March. The Longhorn Chassis logo can be seen on the door in one of the photos shared.

Moyer is currently fifth in the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series points after six features. He’s 205 points behind current leader Cade Dillard. He started off solid with a fourth and tenth place finish at Arrowhead. In April at Poplar Bluff Motorsports Park he finished 17th. The next night at Old No. 1 Speedway he finished 9th. At the Bad Boy 98 at Batesville Motor Speedway, he finished on the podium with a third place behind Jonathan Davenport and Ethan Dotson. On Saturday, he finished 13th.

Outside of the COMP Cams series, Moyer also competed in the newly formed Heartland Late Model Tour in its opening weekend at Legit Speedway. He finished 7th on Friday night. On Saturday, he set quick time, but come feature time unfortunately he DNF’d and finished 22nd.
