After three straight rain-outs, the cars and stars racing with the Schaeffer’s Oil by Mike Bruner Red Clay 602 Late Model Series are finally staring at a promising weather forecast on Friday, May 29 for a visit to Travelers Rest Speedway. A $2,000 winner’s check will be up for grabs in round six of the tour tomorrow night in the Palmetto State. So far in 2026, Wyatt Coffey (Screven Motor Speedway), Cody Overton (Screven Motor Speedway), Bryson Hickman (I-75 Raceway), Nick Deitz (Laurens County Speedway), and Dawson Lowe (North Georgia Speedway) have all secured Red Clay 602 Late Model Series triumphs.
Joining the 602 Late Models on the racing card will be the Pure Stock, Thunder Bomber, FWD, Crown Vic, and Renegade Sportsman divisions. The pits and the grandstands both open at 5:00pm with the drivers meeting set for 7:00pm. Grandstand admission will be $15.00 for adults and FREE for kids ages 10 and under. Pit admission will be $35.00 for adults and $5.00 for kids ages 10 and under.

The Red Clay 602 Late Model Series tire rule for the Travelers Rest, South Carolina speedplant will be Left Front: Open, Left Rear & Right Front: American Racer Pro 2 (88.0 / 90.0), and Right Rear: American Racer Pro 2 or American Racer Pro 4 (92.0). The entry fee for the 602 Late Models will be $80.00 and transponders will be available to rent.
