With rain throughout the weekend leading to unfavorable speedway grounds at Glen Ridge Motorsports Park, and weather models showing more rain on Sunday, DIRTcar Northeast and track officials have postponed Sunday’s DIRTcar 358 Modified Series event.

Series and track officials are searching for a viable date to reschedule.

Drivers will now turn their attention to Thursday, June 11, for the Battle of Plattsburgh at Airborne Park Speedway in Plattsburgh, NY.

Mike Mahaney enters the event with a two-point lead in the standings over Alex Payne on the strength of back-to-back top fives. They’ll be challenged by defending Series champion Mat Williamson, and Airborne stars Felix Roy, Justin Stone, and more.

Joining the 358 Modifieds will be the DIRTcar Sportsman Series East Region, and the track’s Mini Stock, Renegade, and Limited Sportsman divisions.
