The Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series Fueled by VP would kick off a doubleheader weekend in the Buckeye State on Friday evening at MRP Raceway Park in Williamsburg, OH with the Impact RaceGear 30 and R.J. Conley of Wheelersburg, OH would lead all 30 laps on his way to a $5,000 payday.
The win by the 61-year-old Conley would be his first of the season with the tour and his third career Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series Fueled by VP victory and would come aboard the Conley Motorsports owned Rocket XR2 Chassis powered by a Draime Race Engine and is sponsored by Conley Trucking, Conley River Terminal, Compton Contracting, Impact RaceGear, Afterburner Performance, Poske’s Performance Parts, and Shain Custom Decals.
After a failed attempted start that saw three drivers tangle in turn four coming to the green flag, R.J. Conley would take the lead at the start of the event, with Steve Peeden, Billy Green, Jason Jameson, and Justin Cooper giving chase. Conley would stretch his lead quickly as the front five remained in the same running order as Conley would begin to lap slower traffic on lap nine. Conley would navigate slower traffic masterfully and would have as much as a two second advantage at times. Meanwhile, Jameson would begin to pressure Green for the third position and would take the spot on lap nineteen. The final caution of the event would wave with twenty-one laps completed when Michael LeFevers would slow on the frontchute. Conley maintained the lead on the restart, while Jameson would get by Peeden to take the runner-up slot. Jameson would make a pair of runs at Conley late in the event, but they would be to no avail as Conley grab the victory, with Jameson, Peeden, Green, and Cooper completing the top five. The remainder of the top ten finishers would be Colton Burdette, Josh Dietz, 16th place starting Luke Morey, Miles Cook II, and Mike Hildebrand.

The next event for the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series Fueled by VP will be on Saturday June 20 at Oakshade Raceway in Wauseon, OH for the 37th Annual Barney Oldfield Race, paying $5,000 to win and $500 to start.
