Due to significant rain chances all weekend long, officials with the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series, Limaland Motorsports Park and Skyline Speedway have mutually agreed to cancel this weekend’s events scheduled for June 26-27, 2026.
Rising costs of diesel fuel for the teams, cost of fuel for the race fans and the chances of rains all weekend long lead to this decision. “It’s hard to make a decision for the entire weekend but when several forecast models show rain and even chances of heavy rain at times, we’re better off to cancel early and allow folks to make other plans for the weekend,” stated Series Promoter Chris Tilley.
Officials with Skyline Speedway and the series are currently looking for a suitable makeup date for the Rumble on The Ridge but the event at Limaland Motorsports Park has been canceled and will not be made up in 2026. Limaland Motorsports Park will return to the 2027 schedule.
The next events for the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series will be on Friday July 3 at 191 Speedway in Campton, KY for a 30-lap $5,000-to-win event then Saturday July 4 at Mudlick Valley Raceway in Wallingford, KY for the 6th Annual 4B4EVER 40 (a tribute to Jackie Boggs) paying $10,000-to-win. Both events will be co-sanctioned with the Coltman Farms Racing Battle of the Bluegrass DIRTcar Series presented by Slicker Graphics and will also feature the $246 “In Memory of Dennis Selby” Fast Time Award each night.
