Ryan Gustin and Cooney Motorsports shared an update on their hunt for a hauler to get them to the World of Outlaws Late Model shows at Stateline and Sharon this week while their primary one was getting work done in the shop.

Gustin and the team originally shared to Facebook, “Cooney Motorsports / Ryan Gustin Racing is looking to rent or borrow a race rig/hauler for this week’s World of Outlaws events at Stateline Speedway and Sharon Speedway as the rig is in the shop and will not be done until next week!”

“We’re right in the middle of the World of Outlaws Late Model points, and we’re doing everything we can to stay on the road and keep chasing points,” he added. “The upcoming races at Stateline on Wednesday and Sharon Speedway on Friday and Saturday are important stops on the tour.”

“If you or someone you know has a rig available for the week, please send us a message or get in touch as soon as possible to Todd Cooney or Ryan Gustin,” he concluded. “We truly appreciate any leads, shares, or help from the racing community. Thank you all for your continued support!”

In an update, Gustin shared that the team had secured a rig thanks to Ricky Kay. He wrote, “The guys have found a rig to pull the trailer to Stateline Speedway and Sharon Speedway this week! 🙌

“A HUGE THANK YOU goes out to Ricky Kay for stepping up and making it happen. Your generosity and willingness to help means more than words can say. It’s people like you who make this racing community so special. 🏁❤️ We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who reached out, shared our post, and offered to help. The support from our racing family never goes unnoticed,” Gustin added. “Now it’s time to get down the road! See you all at the track!”

The World of Outlaws Late Models head to Stateline Speedway in Busti, New York on Wednesday, July 8th for a 40-lap $15,000 to-win event honoring Rick Briggs. They will be joined by DIRTcar UMP Modified and Pro Stocks as support divisions. It will be the series first race at the track since 2023, where Nick Hoffman secured his first ever World of Outlaws win. It will also be the site where Bobby Pierce will attempt to make history by setting a new record of 7 wins in a row for the series.

Then they will head to Sharon Speedway for the Battle at the Border on Friday and Saturday July 10-11. Friday night they will race for 40-laps to win $12,000 and then on Saturday they will run 60 laps for $20,000 to-win. The UMP Modifieds will join them as a support division.

The Outlaws were last at Sharon last year. Bobby Pierce won the opening night and Mike Marlar secured the win over Pierce on night two.
