A third time will hopefully be the charm for the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series fueled by VP at Skyline Speedway in Stewart, Ohio. Rain has plagued the last two scheduled visits by the series at the Jeff Burdette-owned and promoted facility. With eight cancelations on the tour and only 12 events in the books, the series and track will be making this event up in hopes to complete it on the third attempt this Saturday, July 25.
On Saturday, the series will visit Skyline Speedway for the second-ever series visit paying $5,000-to-win and $500-to-start during the 30-lap “5th Annual Rumble on the Ridge event. This will also be a Valvoline Weekend Allstars points event. The track will announce support classes this week for the event. The pits open at 4:00 pm with hot laps rolling out at 7:15 pm.

During last year’s Harvest 50 at Skyline Speedway, Colten Burdette of Parkersburg, W.V. took home the $5,000 payday in the first-ever series visit while Michael Lake, Caiden Black, Clint Keenan & Seth Daniels rounded out the top-five. Previous Rumble on the Ridge winners include Corey Conley, Tyler Carpenter (twice) and Colten Burdette.
The tire rule for Skyline Speedway will be: Fronts & Left Rear: Hoosier NLMT 2 & NLMT 3. The Right Rear will by Hoosier NLMT 3 & NLMT 4. The series entry fee is $50.
