R.J. Conley, of Wheelersburg, Ohio, swept a pair of feature events on Saturday, July 25 at the nearby Portsmouth Raceway Park to elevate his 2026 win total to three! In the rain-postponed A-Main from July 18, which was held during the afternoon, R.J. came out on top to pocket the $2,000 first place prize money. Later in the evening at PRP, R.J. laid down the second quickest lap overall during Super Late Model qualifying prior to winning his heat race and the 20-lap main event. He beat Justin Cooper, Mike Hildebrand, Zach Hill, and Tyler Riggs to the checkered flag to bag another $2,000 winner’s check!

His brother Rod Conley followed the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series to Skyline Speedway in Stewart, Ohio on Saturday to vie for a $5,000 payday in the ‘Rumble on the Ridge.’ Rod stopped the clock third fastest overall during time trials before placing third in his heat race. The #71R team missed on setup during the 30-lap headliner and slipped back to post a thirteenth place effort.

The Conley’s will both be in Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series competition over the July 31-August 1 weekend. Rod, who sits second in the latest version of the point standings for the tour, will venture south to Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Kentucky on Friday night for a $6,000 to win shootout. Saturday will find both Rod and R.J. at the nearby Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio for the 6th Annual Jackie Boggs Kids Night, which will shell out a $7,500 windfall. More information on these races can be viewed online by clicking on www.imdirt.net.
