19th Ike Moler Memorial At MRP & 23rd Iron-Man Classic At Portsmouth Set On Go For August 21-22

A big weekend in the Buckeye State of Ohio brings the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series fueled by VP back to life on Friday-Saturday August 21-22. After (16) points-paying events, there have been (13) different winners in Domination Race Cars Victory Lane.

On Friday, August 21, the tour will invade MRP (Moler) Raceway Park in Williamsburg, Ohio for the second visit of the season paying $5,000-to-win, $500-to-start and 30 laps around for the 19th Annual “The Ike” Moler Memorial. The defending Ike Moler Memorial winner is Jason Jameson of Lawrenceburg, IN who captured the event over Adam Stricker, Rusty Schlenk, James Rice & Colten Burdette.

On Saturday, August 22, three points battles will be on the line at Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio. The Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series, the Coltman Farms Battle of the Bluegrass DIRTcar Series presented by Slicker Graphics & the Valvoline Weekend Allstars will all collide for the $7,500-to-win and $500-to-start 23rd Annual CT Promotions Iron-Man Classic presented by Cheap Chevrolet of Flemingsburg, KY. Colten Burdette of Parkersburg, WV added his name to the list of Iron-Man Classic champions as he won over Rusty Schlenk, Clint Keenan, R.J. Conley and Rod Conley.

On Friday, August 21 at MRP Raceway Park, the Sport Mods, Compacts, Legends and Crown Vics will all be on the racing card for the evening. The pits open at 4:30 pm, the drivers meeting will be at 6:30 pm and on-track activity will begin at 7:00 pm.

On Saturday, August 22 at Portsmouth Raceway Park, the KDRA Super Stock Series presented by Todd Steel Buildings, the UMP Modifieds and Sport Mods will all be on tap for the evening’s activities. Any Crate/Steel Block Late Models can race with the Super Late Model Series on Saturday for a bonus, announced later in the week. The pits open at 1:00 pm, the drivers meeting will be at 6:30 pm and on-track activity will begin at around 7:00 pm. Also, $246 will also be placed for the “In Memory of Dennis Selby Fast Time” of the Iron-Man Late Models as the Selby Family places this award at each Coltman Farms Racing Battle of the Bluegrass DIRTcar Series event in 2026.

The tire rule each night is Hoosier NLMT 2 & NLMT 3 on the fronts and left rear with the right rear being Hoosier NLMT 3 & NLMT 4. The entry fee is $50 each night and $75 tow money will go to any car not making the field of 22.
