Joe Duvall’s wife Shelley requested prayers for her husband as he is expected to undergo his first surgery after being severely burned in a work accident on Tuesday.

Shelley Duvall shared to Facebook, “We feel so blessed with the outpouring support, prayers and everything in between. We need even more prayers today as Joe will have his first surgery on both arms with skin grafts sometime around 10 this morning.”

“Please pray with us through the procedure and thereafter for Joe,” she concluded. “I will update sometime after surgery.”

She previously shared that Duvall was in a burn unit after being severely burned in a work accident. She wrote, “Joe was involved in a work accident and is severely burned and right now we’re just trying to navigate through everything and take it one step at a time in the burn unit. Please continue to keep him and our family in your prayers. “

The United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) originally shared that Duvall was “severely injured” on Tuesday. 

No details have been provided on what exactly occurred as part of the work accident. Duvall owns and operates Duvall Electric located in Claremore, Oklahoma.
