The Adam Family Motorsports announced it is looking to hire a new crew chief or experienced crew member for the upcoming 2026 season.

In a post to Facebook, the team shared, “AFM is looking for a crew chief or experienced crew guy to join the team.”

As for the positions’ requirements, the team relayed, “Needs to have worked on a race team before and have knowledge on building bodies, grooving tires, changing engines and transmissions, etc…”

“Must show up on time, be somewhat professional, know how to shower and keep their space clean, work well with others, and have no issues traveling up and down the road all year round,” they added. “Would be great if you had a CDL but if not be able to drive the race hauler.”

Finally, the team concluded, “Pay based on experience, 401k with company match and health benefits. Housing provided.”

The team will be heading to Florida for Speedweeks this month. It shared in an update on Facebook earlier this month that the team was originally planning to take the month off to prepare for The Nippy 50 and the beginning of the MARS Racing Series tour, but decided to head to Florida to compete with the World of Outlaws at Hendry Country Motorsports Park for the Swamp Cabbage 100 and then head to Ocala to race with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.

After The Nippy 50 and The Illini 100 weekend at Farmer City, the team will race around Illinois with dates at Fairbury, Coles County Speedway, and LaSalle on the schedule. Finally, the team will seemingly conclude its season at the MARS series finale at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri for its Fall Nationals.

The team already competed at the Wild West Shootout where they fielded a car for Ricky Thornton Jr., who took it to victory lane on the opening night of the six-race miniseries. In the team’s other car, Daniel Adam made the feature the first three nights finishing 16th, 22nd, and 14th. However, the team struggled the final three nights. It settled for B-feature finishes of 7th and two 5th places.
