The image, which has been shared to social media and features Sheppard’s letterhead states, “I will be parting ways with the Longhorn Factory Team and Riggs Racing at the conclusion of the 2024 World of Outlaws (WoO) CASE Late Model season. It’s been a fun and good run with the Longhorn Factory Team and Riggs Racing, but we’ve amicably decided to go our separate ways at the end of the season.”

It adds, “There’s no hard feelings or drama, we just all are looking to different goals for 2025. Steve Arpin and the Riggs Family have been good to me, and they’ll always be great friends. I wish those guys nothing but the best of luck, and I’m fully focused on ending our tenure together with a World of Outlaws title.”

From there it announces, “My final ride with the team will be on Nov 6-9 during the World of Outlaws World Finals at The Dirt Track at Charlotte (Concord, N.C.).

“As we look to the future, I’m actively working on details for our racing program. We are going to open the 2025 season at the Wild West Shootout in New Mexico in my family owned B5, and then past that point we are still looking to lock some things down. I’m open to marketing partners who might be looking to get involved with my racing endeavors.”

From there it provides contact information, thanks partners, and provides details on his chase for the World of Outlaws title. Sheppard currently has a 54 point lead over both Bobby Pierce and Nick Hoffman with just a few races left in the season including this weekend for the Billy Clanton Classic at Senoia Speedway and the Alabama Gang 100 at the Talladega Short Track.

After this weekend, the World of Outlaws head to Boothill Speedway on September 27th and Rocket Raceway Park in Petty, Texas for the Texas Torpedo 50 on September 28th. Finally, the season concludes at The Dirt Track at Charlotte for the World of Outlaws World Finals that runs from November 6-9th.

There appears to be some veracity to the leaked image as scooper Racin Jason revealed that after the image was leaked he was contacted by Sheppard about it.

Racin Jason stated, “When BShepp inboxed me, man, I about s**t a brick. How would you feel? How would you feel?”

He did indicate he was not behind the leaked image, “I did not send that message. No.” However, he would add, “I don’t know how the hell they got it. They said it was leaked. I know the story, but I’m not going into detail with that. Not going into detail with that. But it got leaked.”
