Beckley Motor Speedway responded to rumors that the track had been sold sharing that while an offer was made, the track had not been sold.
Earlier this week, Dirt Behind The Scenes shared a rumor that Beckley Motor Speedway had been sold with Mike and Becky Hurley purchasing the track. In a post to Facebook, the outlet stated, “I’m hearing from very reliable sources that Beckley Motor Speedway has been sold, with the reported buyers being Mike & Becky Hurley.”
“Now, to be clear and transparent: I do not know if paperwork has officially been signed yet,” it continued. “However, everything I’m hearing points to a deal being in place for Mike and Becky Hurley to take over ownership of Beckley Motor Speedway.”
Following this, Beckley Motor Speedway and owner Randy Kinder addressed the rumor and shared that it has not been sold, but that an offer had been made. In a post to the track’s Facebook, Kinder wrote, “No, the racetrack has not been sold. Yes, there was an offer, nothing more. Any official news will come from me.”
He also shared, “Our 2026 schedule is coming together nicely. Schedule and banquet dates will be announced soon. We are looking forward to the 2026 season.”
