Cade Dillard shared his tentative plans for 2026 ahead of the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series sanctioned First Blood event at Arrowhead Speedway.
Speaking with the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series Late Model series, Dillard shared, “We’ll just kick everything off in Arizona and then we’ll probably go to Volusia in February and just hit and miss from there. Pry no series or nothing. Just race wherever makes sense for us.”
He went on to share that he would return to his shop in Louisiana following the First Blood event before heading to Central Arizona Raceway Park for the Wild West Shootout. Dillard said, “We’ll go back to the shop. We’ve still got another late model to finish and finish our mod up. We’ve got a lot of stuff for customers to get together. We’ll go back home, work a few days, and head out Wednesday.”
Dillard won the First Blood event, pocketing $5,026 and besting the likes of R.C. Whitwell, and Clay Stuckey who finished second and third to round out the podium. In fact Dillard swept the night. He was the fast qualifier, won his heat race, and then went on to win the feature. The only thing he wasn’t first in was in hot laps. He was second behind Tony Jackson Jr.
He will face some stout competition when he heads to Arizona. The Wild West Shootout features a who’s who of super dirt late model drivers and teams. It includes:

The last time the event was held in Arizona at the now defunct Arizona Speedway in 2021, Davenport was the champion.
