Christian Hanger indicated he might be chasing a national tour for the 2026 season.
In a post to Facebook, Hanger wrote, “We’re backkk. After taking the later half of the season off to regroup, we’re excited to announce our return to racing will be this December, at the Gateway Dirt Nationals!”
After announcing a special wrap for the event and seeking some sponsors for it, he added, “Additionally, we are actively seeking sponsorship partners to join our team, for this event and the coming season, as we gear up for our biggest endeavor yet! We will continue to post and update, until we officially announce our intentions at the 2025 PRI Show.”
Finally, he teased, “If interested in partnering with a national level touring team for 2026, please message our page, or email us at [email protected]. Thank you.”
Hanger competed in 25 of the 28 features in the DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour. He finished 7th in the standings with 1 Top 5 and 6 Top 10s. His best finish came at Lee County Speedway where he finished 4th. He also had strong showings at Macon, Benton, and LaSalle where he finished 6th at both tracks. His other top 10s came at Spoon River where he finished 9th and Duck River where he finished 7th.
His one and only super late model win came earlier in the year at Duck River Raceway Park back on March 14th. He performed double duty that day and also won in the 602 crate late model class.
As indicated by the Facebook post above, he took a significant break from racing in the middle of July. He did attempt to race in a 602 crate late model at Duck River at the end of September, but My Race Pass indicates he did not start in the B-Feature on both the 26th and the 27th.
In recent years, Hanger has found success in the south especially in Tennessee. He’s won at Duck River, Xtreme Speedway, Tazewell, and North Alabama Speedway.
While Hanger is hinting at a national tour it would not be surprising to see him compete regionally with The Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series and make another run at the Hell Tour this year.
