Conner Jones expressed his frustration with Parker Eatmon as he scuffled with his fellow driver immediately following the CARS Tour race at Langley.

Jones, who was running 8th with a lap to go and had been underneath Kade Brown ended up finishing in 11th behind Eatmon who finished 8th, Buddy Isles Jr. who claimed the 9th spot and Kade Brown who finished 10th. It is unclear exactly what happened on the track between Jones and Eatmon as FloRacing did not share any replays.

Immediately following the race, Jones marched down to Eatmon’s car and confronted the driver who had still not fully climbed to the car. The two exchanged words and then began shoving each other. A number of people including Andrew Grady, who had DNF’d earlier in the race, attempted to break up the confrontation. However, it briefly escalated the situation with Eatmon trying to grab Jones and Jones slapping him away. Jones was then physically lifted up by one person and set on top of a tire. After the two exchanged words, Eatmon was escorted away by his team and Jones went back to his car where he threw his gloves and Hans device in anger.

Here’s another angle of the confrontation from Wyatt Tinsley:

Aside from Jones and Eatmon’s scuffle, the race was one of the best this year with Chase Burrow and Connor Hall dueling for the lead with just under 40 laps to. Burrow would eventually best him while Hall’s car faded at the end of the race. While Burrow might have defeated Hall, he had to hold off a hard-charging Jared Fryar on multiple late-race cautions. He eventually did and claimed his first CARS Tour victory.

There were also multiple mechanical failures for some of the top drivers including the current point leader Landen Lewis, who only completed 86 of the 120 lap feature. Others suffering problems were Mini Tyrell, and Doug Barnes Jr.

Landon Huffman also found himself feuding with Justin Carroll after Carroll spun off the nose of Huffman. Carroll would retaliate against Huffman a few laps after they had gone back green.
