Daulton Wilson shared an update on what his plans are for the rest of this year and moving into 2026 after he departed JRR Motorsports earlier this year.

Back in October, JRR Motorsports announced it was parting ways with Daulton Wilson. Team owner James Ratliff said in a press release, “This was a very hard decision for everyone at JRR. Daulton has always carried himself with professionalism and represented JRR Motorsports with class. I’ve enjoyed every minute of the past four years. We’ve made incredible memories together — many I’ll never forget. He’s a great driver, and more importantly, a great person. I wish him nothing but the best in 2026 and wherever his career takes him.”

Since then Daulton Wilson has ran a number of races with Big Frog. At East Alabama Motor Speedway he had two top 10s finishing 6th on Saturday night and 7th on Sunday. He finished 12th on Friday night. At Charlotte for the World Finals, he made the feature all three nights and finished 13th, 20th, and 12th.

StockCarReport.com spoke with him at Charlotte about his plans for the rest of the year and into 2026. He said, “We really don’t got nothing set in stone. No set plans. We’re just kind of going with it right now and see how it goes. Try to have success each and every week and just kind of try to build on it.”

There are a couple of national touring rides open. They include the Billy Hicks Racing team as well as the JCM Motorsports team. The Billy Hicks team parted ways with Donald McIntosh earlier this year while JCM split with Spencer Hughes and then Joseph Joiner and the Hunt the Front team decided to pass on competing with the team on the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series tour next year.
