The DIRTcar Summer Nationals canceled the previously rescheduled race at Tri-City Speedway.

In a blog post, the tour shared that the race was canceled “due to excessive amounts of rainfall during track preparations.” There are no plans to reschedule the race.

While racing at the track has been canceled it did not stop Brandon Sheppard’s team from having a pool party in the pits.

The Summer Nationals are expected to be back in action tomorrow night for the Herald & Review 100 at Macon Speedway. The race at Macon marks the halfway point of the Hell Tour. Following Macon, the tour heads to Farmer City Raceway on Friday night and then Highland Speedway on Saturday before closing out Week 3 at Clarksville Speedway.

Following his victory at Springfield on Tuesday night, Tyler Erb is your current points leader. He has a six point advantage over Week 1 Champion Jason Feger. Dennis Erb Jr. currently sits in third. He’s 65 behind Terbo. Dillon McCowan is 117 points behind in fourth and Kyle Bronson rounds out your top 5, 142 points out.
