The FloRacing Night in America Series announced that its previously scheduled race at Tri-State Speedway on September 24th has been canceled due to weather.

In a press release, the series announced, “The debut of FloRacing Night in America presented by Kubota at Indiana’s Tri-State Speedway will have to wait one more year. Rain that plagued the facility throughout the day on Monday paired with a forecast for more rain through Wednesday night led to the track and series officials cancelling the event that was scheduled for Wednesday, September 24. With no viable options it will not be made up in 2025, but plans are already underway for a 2026 debut.”

FloRacing Night in America General Manager Ben Shelton stated, “Man, it stinks because everyone was excited to have our debut at Tri-State Speedway, but Mother Nature isn’t on our side. With the facility already wet from today’s weather, and more rain on the way, track officials wanted to be proactive for drivers and fans to save them time and money, and this is 100% the right decision. We look forward to bringing the series there in 2026.”

AccuWeather does note that there is currently a 98% chance of precipitation on Wednesday. Additionally, the site predicts, “Rather cloudy and humid with a couple of showers and thunderstorms, heaviest late; thunderstorms can bring flash flooding and localized damaging wind gusts.”

With this date at Tri-State Speedway rained out, the final two dates on the series are November 14th and 15th for the 5th Annual Peach State Classic at Senoia Raceway with a $20,000 to-win show on Friday night and a $30,000 to-win show on Saturday night.

Those final two races will also determine who will be crowned the series champion. Currently, Bobby Pierce is the points leader. He has a 48 point advantage over Jonathan Davenport and a 96 point advantage over last year’s champion Ricky Thornton Jr.

Davenport and Thornton were both able to narrow that gap in the series most recent race at Volunteer Speedway for the 2nd Annual Scott Bloomquist Memorial Scorcher. Davenport took home the win with Throtnon finishing in 7th. Pierce finished back in 17th.
