Cherokee Speedway and Hunt the Front announced a new partnership and 6-race Cherokee Chief Super Late Model Challenge Series.
In a press release shared to social media, Hunt the Front and Cherokee Speedway announced the Cherokee Chief Super Late Model Challenge Series will feature six races across the year including the Blue-Gray 100 with a $10,000 championship purse.
The series begins on March 2nd with a $15,000 to win race. Next, will be the Mike Duvall Memorial on May 3rd with a $20,000 to-win purse. The Grassy Smith Memorial will take place on June 21st with $10,000 on the line.
The series returns on September 20th for the $10,000 Stick Elliot Memorial. On October 10th, there will be Blue-Gray 100 preliminaries with a $35,000 to-win Saturday night feature on October 11th.
Finally, the Freddy Smith Memorial will take place some time in November.
Hunt the Front’s Joseph Joiner commented on the deal and series, “We’re thrilled to partner with Tony Adair and work together to make Cherokee Speedway an even greater destination for dirt track racing.”
“Tony’s dedication to local racing is unmatched, and we’re eager to bring our unique perspective and energy to the track’s biggest Super Late Model races.”

The series will be televised exclusively on Hunt the Front TV.
The Cherokee Chief Super Late Model Series will also overlap with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series in 2025. The May 3rd Mike Duvall Memorial and Blue-Gray 100 races are part of the 23 race schedule that heads to 15 different tracks across the southeast including Needmore Speedway, I-75 Raceway, Whynot Motorsports Park, Talladega Short Track, Lavonia Speedway, Cherokee Speedway, Sugar Creek Raceway, Smoky Mountain Speedway, Swainsboro Raceway, Lake Cumberland Speedway, Florence Speedway, Snoia Raceway, Duck River Raceway Park, and North Georgia Speedway.
Alongside its schedule, The Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series confirmed that it will pay its 2025 Champion $50,000 for the second year in a row. It also boosted its Driver Loyalty Program by paying the top 10 drivers in the series points standings $500 in travel money in addition to their race payouts.
It also increased its “end-of-season points fund by $8,000 for 2025 and spread it across positions 6th through 10th. This increases the entire points fund to $135,000. It also increased its minimum Friday night to-win purse from $5,000 to $8,000.
