Hunt the Front’s Joseph Joiner will team up with JCM Motorsports to compete with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series at the Topless 100.

In a post to Facebook, JCM Motorsports announced, “Joseph Joiner will be wheeling the 19m for the Topless 100.”

Hunt The Front also shared, “We were planning to take the weekend off, but it’s hard to pass up an opportunity to run another crown jewel event! Joseph will be driving the JCM Motorsports No. 19m Rocket this weekend in the Topless 100 at Batesville Motor Speedway with the Lucas Oil Series. We’re extremely thankful to Colten Miller for the opportunity!”

“Joseph, Jonathan, and TC met up with the JCM crew at their shop in Birmingham yesterday, and the team is heading out to Arkansas later today,” the team added. “Y’all come see us at the track this weekend or tune in live on FloRacing!”

Joiner teaming up with JCM Motorsports for the Topless 100 comes after the team split ways with Spencer Hughes earlier this week. Hughes informed FloRacing’s Kyle McFadden, “I’m thankful for all of it, Colten and his family and everyone that’s been with him that’s been able to do it for me the couple years. Just sometimes life takes you down different paths. He wanted to continue pursuing the Lucas Oil Late Model Series and I just wasn’t really in the position at this time to do so.”

“I felt like it was in the best interest for me personally in my life to run more of a regional schedule for the back half of this year until we can get all our ducks in a row,” Hughes added. “Colten wanted to continue on. He wanted to go on Lucas and stuff, and I just believe I have to do what’s right for me and everyone around me. There was no big blow up either. I talked to him, and he talked to his wife. And they understand.”

It is unclear if Joiner will continue compete with JCM Motorsports moving forward. JCM Motorsports crew member Danny “Smoke” Treaster said during the most recent episode of Rippin’ the Lip on X, “We’re working hard to make it to Batesville and our plans are to be there for the Topless 100. Colten and all of us at JCM’s goal is to complete the Lucas Oil season.”
