Nick Hoffman poked fun at the DIRTCar Summer Nationals 2025 Hell Tour after two extraordinarily long programs that went into the early morning at the Brownstown Bullring and Kankakee County Speedway.
Ahead of the tour’s third stop at Peoria, Hoffman took to social media where he posted, “If you are planning on watching Summer Nationals tonight stop by the nearest gas station and grab a NOS Energy Drink so you can stay awake long enough to see the features.”
“Call your boss and tell him you may be late tomorrow because you were watching the Hell Tour. He will understand,” he added.

Obviously, Hoffman is not the only one to point out that the first two races were long nights, Peoria Speedway took notice as well. On Facebook the track responded to one fan who hoped the team will push a quick program by promising, “One thing Cody and Jeff have taken pride in the last few years is quick shows. They have already put in place a plan to try and have late model and modified features done before 10.”
It is unclear exactly what that plan is, but the most obvious would be to have the late models and modifieds potentially run their features before the B-Mod and 4 Cylinder support classes get to their B-Main races or even their heat races depending on how late it is getting after hot laps and qualifying.
What do you make of Hoffman’s ribbing of the DIRTCar Nationals while also plugging his primary sponsor?
