Richard Childress Racing announced that it signed up and coming talent Carson Brown, who competes in a number of different disciplines including dirt super late models, late model stock cars, super late models, and ARCA.

The team announced the signing on Facebook, “Just signed: Carson Brown Motorsports joins RCR’s driver development program. We can’t wait to see what this young talent brings to RCR.”

Brown shared his gratitude and excitement in a separate post, “I am incredibly thankful for this opportunity with Richard Childress Racing. The work is just getting started! #teamchevy”

Brown had a standout 2025. He finished second to Cole Butcher in the Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA Stars National Tour. His season started out strong with two wins during the World Series of Asphalt in a super late model at New Smyrna Speedway. He also brought home a win during the ASA Stars National Tour at Madison International Speedway in June.

In a super dirt late model, Brown unloaded during the Wild West Shootout and had a best finish of 10th on night four. He made the feature two other nights and brought it home in 15th.

He would also show up at select events during Georgia-Florida Speedweeks. At Needmore for the Hunt the Front race he finished 10th. He would make one of the features at Ocala and finish 16th with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. He primarily focused on his asphalt late model, but also showed up at some big events throughout the year. At Eldora for The Dream he finished 14th and 6th in a B-Main and then on Saturday finished 13th in his heat.

Following Eldora he showed up at a number of Hell Tour races such as the Brownstown Bullring, Kankakee County Speedway, Peoria, and Fairbury. His best showing was 4th in a B-Main at Peoria. However, he would get into the features at Davenport and Lee County Speedway finishing 16th and 19th. He also finished 22nd at the first of two World of Outlaws races at I-55 Federated Auto Parts Raceway Park. He showed solid speed after that finishing 12th at Lincoln and 10th at Springfield. He continued to improve getting a top 10 at Clarksville, a 15th at Benton and another 10th place finish at Spoon River. He then got a 9th place finish at LaSalle and a 7th place at Red Hill. He performed solidly at Duck River as well with a 12th place showing.

In August he finished 11th and 17th at Batesville Motor Speedway for the Topless 100 with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. His last time in a super dirt late model this year was at the World 100 where he finished 12th both nights and then failed to make the big race finishing 12th in his heat.
