The Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series announced its 2026 schedule and it includes 15 races across the southeast.
The series will return to Senoia, Needmore, Penton Raceway, the Talladega Short Track, and Southern Raceway.
It adds a bevy of new tracks including Cochran Motor Speedway, Waycross, Big South Fork Raceway, Winder Barrow Speedway, Modoc Raceway, North Alabama Speedway, and Thunderhill Raceway Park.
The series will kick off in the middle of April at Cochran Motor Speedway before heading to Senoia in May. May is the series’ busiest month with three races including the one at Senoia. They’ll also race at Waycross and Needmore in the middle of the month. The series will have at least one race every single month from April to November with most months have two races.
There is one big question mark in August as they are planning to race on August 7th and 8th, but the track is currently listed as To Be Determined.
Every race will compete for at least $5,000 to-win with a number of the races such as the opener at Cochrane and the finale at Southern Raceway having $10,000 up for the winner.
