World Racing Group CEO Brian Carter shared that the Real American Beer World of Outlaws Late Models will increase the number of races on its schedule moving forward.
In a sit-down interview with DIRTVision’s Conner Wade, Wade noted that Series Director Steve Francis and the World of Outlaws Late Models have increased the number of times they race as well as the the different tracks they visit and was asked if it was an intentional strategy to increase the number of races and locations for the series.
Carter responded, “Our teams have asked us to put a few more races on the calendar because it’s financially more viable for them to race with us. We put together good prize money, good tow money. Same thing for all the series. We’re going to have meet the needs of the people that were racing with us and the fans and the tracks. And that balancing act is hard. So what Steve is, is a great ambassador for the drivers and the teams to help me to grow my understanding of what they need. So we have track operators that are helping us. We have different versions of the series people that have worked with us.”
“Steve is a racer, been a racer his entire life and knows the promotions through friends of the family,” he continued. “So really he is listening to the demands of the marketplace and trying to figure out how we do it. And this year we’re going to schedule a few more races because the market wants it. The fans will support it. And if they do, we’ll continue to do that.”
The World of Outlaws Late Model Series announced its 2026 schedule earlier this year and it includes 37 different tracks across 19 states. There will be a total of 64 races next year. There were 60 races on the 2025 calendar.
