Cade Dillard promised to wreck Garrett Alberson if he touches him again after the two were involved a heavy collision in the B feature preliminary for the Topless 100 on Friday night.

Following a restart with 18 laps to go, Alberson got a run going into turn 1 and slid Dillard for the lead coming out of turn 2. Dillard appeared to slip up a little bit entering turn 1, but was able to gather the momentum back up and attempted to cross Alberson over, but ended up making contact with Alberson’s left rear and driving him into the outside wall. Somehow Alberson’s car didn’t flip, but helicoptered back down the track and was hit by Daulton Wilson.

After bringing his car into the hot pit, Dillard spoke with FloRacing saying, “That Garret, once again, proves how big of an idiot he is. Every time he buckles his helmet on he tears somebody up. He got me at Cedar Lake. Last week tore up Jake Timm. Every time you see him on the track, he’s tearing somebody’s stuff up. I’m not going to say it on here and go on a rampage and cuss, nothing like that, but you’re tired of racing with idiots like that. You work way too hard to get out here and put your stuff in a position to be upfront like this and every time I’m around him he hits my race car. So I hope they have to send his back to the jig. If he touches me again, I’ll total him out again.”

As for Alberson, he shared, “I’m not really sure there. I know Cade’s mad. We’ve had our run-ins. I got a hell of a run down that front straightaway. Got an excellent start. I didn’t even see him. By the time we got to turn 1, I didn’t even see him no more so I just eased my way out there. And heck, he hit me in the left rear so I must have gone by him, you know.”

“I’m just trying to use the speed that we got to get the lead. The clean air is important here,” he continued. “I felt really, really good. I was just trying to bide my time and take care of my tire there. I don’t know. I’ll have to see the replay there. Maybe I screwed it up, I don’t know, but I just have to see the replay. Just hate it for my guys. I think that thing’s probably junk. It is what it is. Just thanks to our sponsors for staying with us. I just guess I got to do a better job here.”
