The FloRacing Night in America series announced that it has rescheduled its postponed events at La Salle Speedway and Lincoln Speedway that were rained out last week during Illinois Speedweek.
The La Salle Speedway event, which was originally scheduled to kick off the FloRacing Night in America series on Tuesday, May 5th, will now take place on September 15th. This will be a complete show with Sunoco Race Fuels Qualifying, heat races, B-Mains, and 50-lap feature.
As for the race at Lincoln Speedway that was originally scheduled for May 7th, it will now take place on Tuesday, July 21st. It will not be a complete show. It will start with the a green flag for the second heat race. The other three races will then be run followed by B-Mains, and a 50-lap feature.
The series noted that “rainchecks and pit passes from the original date will be honored, and tickets will also be available to purchase at the gate.”
The series will next be in action ahead of the Dirt Late Model Dream at Eldora Speedway. The series will compete at Eldora Speedway on Wednesday, June 3rd with $20,000 on the line for the winner.
Brandon Sheppard currently leads the points standings after his win at Spoon River. Hudson O’Neal is in second with Bobby Pierce in third. The rest of the top five includes Tyler Erb and Devin Moran. Nick Hoffman, Brandon Overton, Tanner English, Shannon Babb, and Kyle Bronson round out the top 10.
