NOS Energy Drink, Hyak Motorsports, and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. revealed a Kyle Busch tribute scheme for this weekend’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Nashville Superspeedway.

The company shared in a post to social media, “For Rowdy. This weekend in Nashville, NOS Energy and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. honor Kyle Busch with a tribute paint scheme inspired by Rowdy’s iconic NOS Energy design.”

“A champion. A legend. Thank you for everything, Kyle,” the company concluded.

Stenhouse’s crew chief Mike Kelley added, “For a long time we chased him, the bar has always genuinely been him. Thank you NOS Energy Drink, Hyak Motorsports, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., and all those involved, we get to honor him. It’s been an emotional week, a challenging time in our sport. As the company noted, the scheme is a tribute to Busch’s NOS Energy Drink design that he sported back in 2016 on his Xfinity car.

Following Busch’s tragic death, Stenhouse shared in a post to Facebook, “There aren’t really words for today. I’ve raced against Kyle for a long time, and anyone who’s lined up next to him knows exactly what made him special, he gave you everything he had, every single lap, and he made all of us better for it.”

“But more than the wins and the records, I keep thinking about Samantha, Brexton, and Lennix, and the entire Busch family right now. That’s where my heart is,” he added. “Rest easy, Rowdy. The sport won’t be the same without you.”

The NASCAR Cup Series schedule for Nashville Superspeedway begins with practice at 4:30 PM on Saturday, May 30th that will be broadcast on Prime Video and PRN. They will then qualify about an hour later at 5:40 PM.

Racing action will begin under the lights at 7 PM with coverage on Prime Video.
