Landon Huffman and his team revealed the wrap for his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series truck that he will compete in at North Wilkesboro as part of a deal with Cleetus McFarland and Henderson Motorsports.

Huffman shared on Facebook, “Short track racer’s dream 🇺🇸🦅. Landon Huffman teams with Cleetus McFarland and Henderson Motorsports for North Wilkesboro Speedway NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race July 18th! Support from Hudson Autoworks & group of partners/fans!”

Huffman announced back in May that he had an opportunity to compete in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at North Wilkesboro, but he needed more help to secure the ride. He went to his fans in a post to Facebook, “I’ve got an opportunity to go NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series racing at North Wilkesboro Speedway in July on the Saturday following our CARS Tour event with a strong team/effort. I’ve got to find some dolla bills to make it happen but that’s what we do!”

We are looking for primary and associate partners to help solidify the truck race and make a big splash with a Friday/Saturday double-header 🔥👀,” he continued. “If you are interested in being a part of the truck series weekend, please reach out for more details! Typically I work behind the scenes on funding but this opportunity does not always come around, and I want to make sure I can capitalize on it if possible.”

This won’t be the first time that Huffman has climbed behind the wheel in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. He’s made five starts in the series. In 2017 he raced with MB Motorsports at Bristol and Martinsville and finished 20th and 17th. Then in 2018 he competed with Niece Motorsports and finished 25th at Phoenix. His most recent starts came at Eldora and Bristol in 2019 with Young’s Motorsports. He finished 24th at Eldora and 16th at Bristol.

Huffman will pull double duty at North Wilkesboro as he will also compete with his Carroll Speedshop team in the CARS Tour race the night before on July 17th. He’s currently 9th in the points standings, 80 points behind current leader Caden Kvapil. His best finish this year is 7th at Wake County.

Outside of the CARS Tour, Huffman has found victory lane seven times. He’s parked it four times at Tri-County Speedway and three times at Wake County Speedway so far this year.

On top of his CARS Tour schedule, weekly racing, and this upcoming NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at North Wilkesboro, Huffman also plans to compete with the IHRA Stock Cars. He will compete with the series when it rolls into Pulaski County Motorsports Park on July 25th. He also has a Twin 45s on the schedule at Wake County on July 10th.
