The World of Outlaws Late Models announced that it fined Logan Zarin following a post-race incident at Stateline Speedway.
In a penalty report, the series shared, “Members of Logan Zarin Racing and Brent Larson Motorsports were involved in a post-race incident following the July 8 event, violating Section 7, Line G of the World Racing Group rulebook. Logan Zarin Racing has been issued a $500 fine, which will be donated to Racing with Jesus Ministries. Both teams are also on probation for the remainder of the season.”
As for the specific rule that was violated, the series shared, “Any member and/or participant who drives or causes to be driven: a race car, pit mule, ATV, 4-Wheeler, personal vehicle or transporter in a dangerous and aggressive manner will be subject to penalty and/or disqualification and/or fine and/or suspension and/or legal action and/or any other action deemed appropriate by World Racing Group Supervisory Officials.”
No other details were provided regarding the incident.
Zarin finished 18th in the feature at Stateline after a chaotic night. He was a in a transfer spot during his Last Chance Showdown, but something on the car broke and he ended up finishing in 9th. In order to make the feature he took a provisional. Then during the feature he got caught up in a wreck involving Boom Briggs that he was attempting to avoid.
As for Brent Larson, he finished 16th in the feature after he too took a provisional after finishing 11th in the Last Chance Showdown.
