Nelson Motorsports announced that Connor Hall will once again race for the team as the CARS Tour continues its trip through Old Dominion.

In a post to Facebook, Nelson Motorsports announced, “Two veterans in Nelson Red lined up for Dominion Raceway this weekend. ♦️♦️.”

“Connor Hall returns to Nelson Motorsports again, driving the PPG #12 and looking to go back-to-back in the CARS Tour after a dominant performance last week at Langley 📈,” it announced. “Jared Fryar will race beside Connor with the #22 TOYOTA Camry.”

Hall returns to CARS Tour action after a dominating performance at his home track, Langley Speedway. And he will be looking to make it 2 for 2. And there’s a high possibility he can do it. Back in 2022, Hall got his second ever CARS Tour win at the track. In 2023, he finished fifth. A year later, in 2024, he finished second to longtime rival Brenden “Butterbean” Queen. Similarly, last year he finished 2nd to hometown hero Mini Tyrrell. His average finish at Dominion is 2.5.

As for Fryar, he joins the Nelson Motorsports after the team split with Carson Loftin earlier this month. The team announced in a post to Facebook, “Jared Fryar joins Nelson Motorsports to pilot the Toyota Racing USA #22 at Dominion Raceway in the CARS Tour on June 13th!”

“Jared has collected a number of accolades throughout his career, including the 2018 CARS SLM and 2020 CARS LMSC Championships, as well as 3 CARS Late Model Stock victories last year. He has been a regular competitor this season, but circumstances have put a pause to his Late Model racing until now,” it added. “We look forward to working with Jared at the Mini’s Mission 125 next Saturday!”

Fryar has also been solid at Dominion. He won his first career CARS Tour win in 2017 at the track after Jeff Oakley failed post-race inspection. He finished 5th in the other duel at the track. He returned to the track in 2020, where he finished 6th and then again in 2021 for a 4th place finish. He would get another 4th place finish in 2024. His worst finish at the track was an 18th back in 2022. He has an average finish of 10th at the track.
