Luke Hall raced to victory in Friday night’s USAC Midwest Thunder SpeeD2 Midget Mike Streicher Memorial feature at Elida, Ohio’s Limaland Motorsports Park.
The third-place starting Hall (Ludlow Falls, Ohio) took the lead from Rookie Landen Francis on lap 16, then led the final 10 laps while holding off the rim-riding Bryce Massingill and Chett Gehrke on the way to his eighth career points-paying victory with the series in his Kyle Heitmeyer-owned No. 74.
Ian Creager had another solid run to take fourth in the feature while 2025 series champion Tyler Nelson rounded out the top five. Francis led the first 15 circuits but fell out of contention and finished 19th.
Matt Lux was the fastest qualifier with a lap of 13.904 seconds.
Bryce Massingill won the Jeff Hill Trailer Sales first heat race. Creager was victorious in the Stiefel’s Home & Auto second heat. Stratton Briggs captured victory in the Hoosier Auto Racing Fans third heat. Francis picked up his first heat race win in the Performance Electronics fourth heat. Hall won the Velocita by Borsos Racing fifth heat.
Kole Kirkman was the Performance Powder Coating Hard Charger in Mike Magic’s No. 5m, advancing from 21st to seventh in the feature. Earlier in the night, Kirkman transferred his way into the feature after winning the semi.
Brayden Schwartz received the Rosewood Machine and Tool Company Precision Move of the Race by advancing two positions on the final lap to take the seventh spot in the feature. Schwartz advanced five positions from his 12th starting spot, second most among all competitors.
Drew Rader received the Wilwood Disc Brakes Tough Brake certificate after drawing the number eight pill in the feature redraw after finishing second in his heat race.
Rookie Jonathon Decker was the recipient of the LynK Chassis bonus as the first non-qualifier out of the semi-feature. Decker started 13th and advanced eight positions to finish fifth, just one position outside of the final transfer spot.
